I didn’t arrive here by accident. And it wasn’t a fairy-tale path.

I spent my teens, twenties & most of my thirties caught up in a maelstrom of self-loathing: drugs, drinking, pleasure-less partying and obsessional cycles of starving & binging.

My moment of reckoning came with a crash — literally, smashed on the floor of a hotel room. Curled into a fetal position, with crushing debt, crippling insecurity & the awful truth of an abusive relationship pressing down on my cocaine-addled chest.

In that moment, I realized that I was throwing away my power.

And I realized that life held so much beauty & potential — if I could just convince myself that I deserved it.

My journey from destructive to dazzling took years of deep, restorative work.

No one had ever handed me the playbook on How To Be A Woman. So I had to create the rules for myself.

I reinvented myself at age 37, and celebrated with a brand new name — Goddess Star Monroe — and a trail of tattooed stars and leopard spots, curving up my back.

Today, I’m a leading empowerment expert for women — a published author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur & mentor.

At my Academy of Womanly Arts, I help women reveal their seductive, sexy selves with a range of wildly fun movement classes — from pole dancing to pilates to my signature workout, Sexy Curves.

My on-demand e-programs help women ‘round the world become more confident & playful, with virtual doses of my grooming, glamour & goal-setting secrets.
