One the major obstacles I have overcome whilst journeying from destructive to dazzling is overcoming the fear of meeting new people.
If we rewind back about 5 years, you would not catch me dead in any new social situation unless I was partly drunk or slightly high on cocaine! The idea of meeting new people scared the shit out of me and I would numb myself with my drug(s) of choice to avoid feeling the fear.
So what happened when I removed the drugs???
Well gave fear the ol’ finger and replaced with curiosity.
Curiosity??? You say.
Yes, curiosity. It is my new wonder drug (and it’s free and doesnt have any side effects!). You see now when I walk into any new social situation, yes I still feel a little nervous but I am more curious about who I am going to meet and get to talk to.
You never know who is out there waiting to meet you.
So gorgeousness – its over to you. If you are a little nervous of social situations I want you to kick the nerves to the kerb and start to become curious about who you can meet and talk to.
